{"id":4563,"date":"2015-04-01T09:44:39","date_gmt":"2015-04-01T15:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nrgibroker.com\/?p=4563"},"modified":"2016-08-23T12:56:22","modified_gmt":"2016-08-23T17:56:22","slug":"exxonmobil-starts-production-from-hadrian-south-in-deepwater-gulf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nrgibroker.com\/en\/exxonmobil-starts-production-from-hadrian-south-in-deepwater-gulf\/","title":{"rendered":"ExxonMobil starts production from Hadrian South in deepwater gulf"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/corporate.exxonmobil.com\/\">ExxonMobil Corp.<\/a> has started production in the deepwater<strong> Gulf of Mexico from Hadrian South field<\/strong>, where gross output will reach 300 MMcfd of gas and 3,000 b\/d of liquids.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gross production from the field\u2014the company\u2019s deepest subsea tie-back in a mile and a half of water\u2014<strong>is expected to reach 300 MMcfd of gas and 3,000 b\/d of liquids from two wells.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hadrian South is 230 miles offshore in the Keathley Canyon area in 7,650 ft of water. The Hadrian-2 discovery well was drilled in 2008 and the Hadrian-4 sidetrack was completed in 2009.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A subsea production system with flowlines is connected to the nearby <strong>Anadarko<\/strong> Petroleum Corp.-operated Lucius truss spar, reducing additional infrastructure requirements. Lucius, where ExxonMobil holds 23.3% interest, started production in January (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ogj.com\/articles\/2015\/01\/oil-production-starts-at-lucius-field-in-deepwater-gulf.html\">OGJ Online, Jan. 19, 2015<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Net production from Hadrian South and Lucius will reach more than<strong> 45,000 boe\/d<\/strong>. Gas transport from the fields is supported by a long-term agreement with Williams Partners, operator of the newly launched Keathley Canyon Connector (OGJ Online, Feb. 20, 2015).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cCooperating closely with Lucius operator, Anadarko, has facilitated the development of a deepwater resource that may not have been possible using a standalone approach,\u201d commented Neil W. Duffin, president of ExxonMobil Development Co.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ExxonMobil operates Hadrian South with 46.7% interest.
